[EN]<\/strong> They were ment to go out of force today, but were re-approved by italian government right on time: Parliament had abrogated plenty of fascist laws still effective in democratic Italy, amongst which some forbiding german speaking minority in Southern Tyrol to use their language in public or private places, or those erasing South Tyrol’s german place names and introducing new, invented ones \u2014 which should sound italian and thus change the identity of a whole region. However, right-wing government led by Mr. Berlusconi did not let pass the decision and re-introduced those humiliating acts with an urgent decree. Whilst this will have no tangible effect on South Tyrol’s legal status, shielded by an international agreement between Italy and Austria, it is considered a shame by democrats in 21st century’s united Europe.
\nSince there will actually be no concrete effect, there was no political reason for re-approving the measures, except for making a highly symbolic statement in favour of fascism, racism and oppression.<\/p>\n

[FR]<\/strong> Il y a quelques semaines, le parlement italien avait decid\u00e9 d\u2019abroger la majorit\u00e9 des lois du fascisme encore en force dans l\u2019Italie d\u00e9mocratique. Entre autres, celles qui interdisent l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019allemand \u2014 en publique et en priv\u00e9 \u2014 \u00e0  la minorit\u00e9 du Tyrol du Sud, et celles qui effacent les toponymes originaux et les substituent avec des inventions \u00abItali\u00e9nis\u00e9es\u00bb. Ces lois n’auraient plus \u00e9t\u00e9 valables \u00e0  partir d’aujourd\u2019hui, si le gouvernement de Mr. Berlusconi n’avait pas refus\u00e9 son annulation. Mais ces lois humiliantes ont et\u00e9 r\u00e9approuv\u00e9es par un gouvernement \u00abd\u00e9mocratique\u00bb en tant que d\u00e9cret urgent. M\u00e8me si cette d\u00e9cision n’aura aucune influence sur le statut du Tyrol, proteg\u00e9 par un trait\u00e9 entre l’Autriche et l’Italie, cette mesure est une honte dans l\u2019Europe unie du 21\u00e8me siecle.
\nVu que le decr\u00e9 n\u2019aura pas de r\u00e9percussions, sa r\u00e9introduction manque de base politique. Ce n’est qu’un symbole en faveur du fascisme, du racisme et de l\u2019oppression.<\/p>\n

[ES]<\/strong> Hace pocas semanas las dos c\u00e1maras del parlamento italiano hab\u00ed\u00adan decidido abrogar una multitud de leyes fascistas todav\u00eda en vigor. Entre ellas, unas normas que prohiben el uso \u2014 en p\u00fablico y en privado \u2014 del alem\u00e1n a la region del Tirol del Sur, y otras que borran la toponimia original, sustituyendola con invenciones \u00abitalianas\u00bb. Hoy las normas iban a perder su vigencia. Sin embargo, el gobierno del Sr. Berlusconi decidi\u00f3 rechazar la anulaci\u00f3n, volviendo a aprobar estas normas humillantes con decreto urgente. Mientras que este hecho no tendr\u00e1 ningun efecto concreto sobre el estatus del Tirol, protegido con un tratado entre Italia y Austria, la medida es considerada una verdadera verg\u00fcenza en la Europa unida del siglo XIX.
