The name “Kronplatz” is the most common for the renomated skiing resort. This is known world-wide.

What perhaps is not so obvious, world-wide, is the fact that a small minority language population (Raetoromanic / Ladin), which has inhabited the areas south of Plan de Corones for thousands of years,
used to be represented in the Logo of the Kronplatz, with the presence of the Ladin name “Plan De Corones”. Due to Marketing reasons, this has been “simplified out” during a re-branding operation.

The territorial value-creation is impacted by this obviously, but also a place is deprived of it’s original (or part of it’s) identity.

We want to hear from you; sign this petition if you think this should be reverted.
